One of a kind tech corp where one can easily find lead software engineer, who doesn't even know difference between Interpreter and compiler. Thanks to h1b visas and corrupt hiring process.

extreme politics. Top layer is blind folded by liars that ind s huge consumer market for their cards. but seems it will make it ultimate losers.

Trade-ins btw managers for invisible employee paychecks. Reason why mostly hire r job visas and through body shops/vendors only. Apparently, a lot of corrupt deep pockets. Don't consider this as American company anymore.

fraud hiring activities... No transparency... Being used as h1b body shop for two decades and now bunch of GC converted garbage won't let real skilled US born talent to join as employee. Vendors/bodyshops enters as contractors first and then those mucks converts to FTE. They sugar coats top layers. Bet, similar sh*t is in all corps. US agencies need to investigate these illegal activities, ruining US security.

Mostly, lobbyism. Baleful workplace for independent skilled IT personnel, mainly, due to bunch of low caliber 'managers', who themselves survive on master/slave groupism and pilferage. If you repel, they will daunt you with forged accusals.
Being said that, still it is an adequate institution for their principal business outcomes.

Yes and a lot of headcount are moving out of HQ to other states and countries to increase global presence but that was always the plan even before pandemic.

With the closing of Palo Alto and Metro 3 and Metro 4 most people will be moving to new San Francisco office. At least some will. It’s a good time to evaluate staff levels. I know in our group we will see about 20% cut at least.
