I would not recommend this place even to those who are coming to gain their first work experience.
I came with such an intention and now I regret it because I feel like I was just wasting my time.
I cannot say that I have gained any special experience here that will help me find a new job. I’m about on the same level as I was before I came here.

Don't forget, newbies are raking in huge RSUs or even a really big bonus. If you're new out of school there are much better places to work.
+1 on all the IBM rejects that are here... it's comical... suddenly they all feel empowered when they were considered useless before
land of the destitute/desperate...
not this nonsense again. we've beaten this horse to death. broadcom is a place to retire if you're on the 2-3 year "plan"..lol...period

@OP+1ebPYuju hey dummy. read the OP... he's not commenting on touchy feely $#it. he's talking about getting valuable, marketable, transferable expertise.. if you're 60 y/o working on old cr-p, fine. the OP ain't. he was d-mb coming to work for Broadcon in the first place....
@OP+1ebPYuju +100... why would this dimwit start a software career here....OMFUG....
We dont all care about touchy feeley culture and only want the steady work and RSUs. Mainframe makes a lot of money and want to ride that train. We dont all need to go to Facebook
Not to be blunt but why did you even THINK of coming here as an initial job....? the market's been on FIRE...
It depends on which location / center you join. The Australian center that you have joined is pathetic and you are wasting your time if you think you want to gain experience. All of us here are just warming our seats and nothing else
