Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

Does this company have problems with hiring?

It's never happened before that a person who leaves is not replaced or needs to be replaced for so long. My only explanation is that this company has problems with hiring. It is not possible that for months now they haven't been able to find replacements for two colleagues who have left, or perhaps they think it is okay to simply distribute their work to others.

They have no problem hiring contractors...they definitely don't want more union employees.

Its extremely difficult to hire in Telecom just about everywhere. I have multiple openings that simply dont get enough applicants.

No but they hire old Verizon executives like cheap whores. Pay them millions. Legs up!

Yeah. That don’t hire. We’ve been staying in hotels covering another market for the last 3 years. They won’t hire anyone. Pays good though….

New hires are not in the budget. They do not backfill that often.

I think it depends what state you are in but if it’s in CA and is a union job I doubt they will hire .
