The only reason anyone takes a job is because it's an improvement from where they are coming from. It doesn't mean that they will forever overlook the inequality that they are stepping up into. Since you're the bigger person, I suppose you're okay with getting less vacation time each year than GE offered me after putting in the same amount of years that I did, only to get more vacation. I bet you didn't know about that. It used to be more. Yep! That was given up but I was grandfathered in. I suppose you'll be happy receiving a retirement that's less than I received on Day 1, even if our years worked were the same? I bet you won't miss the totally covered healthcare that I used to enjoy as part of my retirement. Unfortunately, that didn't get grandfathered in but at least I got to enjoy it for a few years, you won't. Don't worry, I know you're getting less than me now and will receive less than me later. I hope you're okay with that. Just so you know, you agreed to it.

What is wrong with somebody that they get off on people lower than them having bad fortunes? Seek professional help is all I can say.

@1sjj+1ecPUDOB. Seems to me that the fools are the ones who took a job knowing the pay was less ,( you had to sign paperwork stating that), and have been whining ever since. Get over it already, it's not going to change. If you dont like it, go back to BK.

The people who voted for it were only looking out for themselves and didn't have the foresight to see what they were creating. GE played them for fools and won. That's to be expected when dealing with ignorant fools who are spineless.

gqr+1ecPUDOB- so you make $10 less than your coworker? Well that’s not a good sign good luck start looking. Your skill set must be under par.

IMO, $10 difference is the rough average. It's really more of a percentage difference.

How much per hour is the difference in a T rate and a D rate? Just wondering.

Perhaps you can get a job with Kellogg. I hear that they are on a rapid hiring binge
And you won't need to complain about paying union dues.
