Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

#TimeForCare and other social media post

Check out Twitter and Facebook. Every time Truist post something like #TimeForCare, they get all kind of negative responses from customers. I would hate to have the job of responding to all the comments and questions.

Here is one of many examples:
"I’ve been on hold for 59 minutes to get help with an issue with my account. Not feeling particularly cared for at the moment. "

The whole “care” thing is hilarious to me. It’s like they just picked something they thought would sound good. Would be nice if some of that care was actually real for clients and teammates

A BBT branch employee told me about this site. As a customer I thought I’d check it out. Only commenting because I spent 72 minutes on hold for resolution of a CC issue. Final straw for me. I will be a former customer by end of week. CARE I think not.

I would argue the clients ain’t seen nothing yet. Wait until the full impact of the voluntary retirement exodus hits home. A lot of the people who left did so because they were tired of seeing how poorly their coworkers and clients were being treated. Truist lost a lot of the remaining employees that truly cared about their clients and teammates in this process.

As someone mentioned earlier, it is comical how little Truist management cares about, or invests in, client service. This is perfectly symptomatic of a management team that, in my experience, has exhibited over and over again that they simply do not like/respect other human beings. Truist Cares…what a sick joke to those that know.

#Truistcares is another one. What a joke! Those of us that work here know that Truist doesn't care about their employees. I am sure that there are some caring employees that want to do a good job and to make the clients happy. Unfortunately , it is impossible to do with the shortage of staff and the overwhelming workload. The big dogs at Truist care about getting the big bucks and bonuses, not much more.

This care campaign is blowing up on them. In the triad they have been decimated by Pinnacle of the best people remaining. Gives me great pleasure to watch them scramble to try and fill the voids they’ve created. I bet the long serving RP of this area wishes, ah no he doesn’t. He’ll ride off into retirement when he gets his big stay bonus next year and laugh all the way to the bank even after helping destroy a good company that has made him a multi millionaire. SMDH
