Are they going on above and beyond to put women in leadership positions and passing qualified men.

Look at the CEO CHANNEL. There are 2 females and 10 are men. Whose being overlooked?
It’s sad that men feel as though they get overlooked for leadership positions. What about men that have leadership positions and the men that don’t.
This company isn’t about women over men. Or qualifications. It’s about who says YES and isn’t willing to challenge others. It’s about those who can run there mouths and suck up.
@6tal+1ehJNZKW Oh I can’t wait to see you passed for someone who just talks nonsense.
Sounds like someone wants a homogeneous workplace. Get over it. The workplace should include everyone that wants to give an honest days work.
If you think you have been passed over then get off you seat and find a better job. Stop crying.
The conclusion you draw clearly shows you are spending more time gossiping versus growing your career.
The best engineer on my team is a woman. I've always gassed her up and can only hope she feels like she's on equal standing as me and other peers, but idk, it's a weird topic to bring up since I'm not the manager. Can only try to be inclusive as possible.
Also, one of my best managers ever at GF was a woman. She supported my growth incredibly, and as a direct result of the opportunities she afforded me I've been promoted twice and make like $30k more per year since I left her team.
I think the problem is there's "not one" culture at GF (F8), and like most other stuff it comes down to which team/department you belong to and how it developed over the years.
I disagree.
I am a female and feel overlooked. Talked over. I was taken out of a promotion which I was qualified, given the lowest percentage in raise because I’m a female with messed up life problems. Guarantee if I was a male & went through what I did, they still get paid more and promoted. Matter fact they did.
It’s all about favoritism.
100%

FAB8 SLT had attrition too but it was the new guy getting rid of the IBM and bringing in folks he felt comfortable dealing with (Singapore). Same as sports, new coach cleans house and brings in his core assistant coaches.
Attrition went through the roof everywhere in the company but the SLT.
u talking about the QA head in Fab 8?? ... what happen to QA there ?? attrition went thru the roof ..
@1bjb
Unfortunately, most jobs are filled by favoritism, not merit.
I honestly didn't realize some positions were that competitive. In my experience there's usually a standout that everyone agrees deserves the position
GF has fast tracked women to management and leadership positions.
Is it merit or compensating for past discrimination and harassment ?
@hxp+1ehJNZKW Looks like you are one who made the decision, were passed for or are the one who gained. I have seen it so many cases where this has happened that it is not even funny and I will admit I am jealous that I was also passed.
they said they weren't only going to consider merit when they started focusing on "D,E&I"
not sure how much it's been put in practice, though
Buzz off, troll.
