Agree with the poster who stated these "cuts" are an MPC initiative, not Andeavor. When MPC acquired Andeavor, a few memos went out regarding MPC changes to several policies, including compensation and bonuses. In nearly every case, the MPC's policies were less generous than Andeavor, especially with cash and stock bonuses.

Don't blame Andeavor for cut backs, Andeavor was more generous and flexible with their bonuses and perks. You didn't have to be an exec, hi-salary-grade, or be called "Mr." to enjoy the "extras". The club of "elites" and "good ole boys" is an MPC trait, not Andeavor.

Yeah, the executive over my group had his secretary remind us to call him by “Mr”. It’s a ridiculous ego thing. Oh, and we’re not allowed to email him directly, only a few people are “allowed” to send him email. MPC is led by ego maniacs who all think they are Rockefeller.

The MPCs move has always been to select the worst option for the employees when harmonizing any andeavor/MPC policy. Every choice is always the least generous option. This wasn’t andeavor people. Y’all kicked out Goff long ago.

I always thought it was weird how all the MPC employees refer to the execs as “Mr” It’s not 1950 anymore.

Not sure why anyone should be surprised with this move. Mr. Hennigan stated in a recent earnings call that "cutting costs is in his DNA". MPC has been bloated for way too long.

I went from 80 days to 7! Notice the message said “no change for legacy Andeavor”. Just another example of Andeavor taking over although we purchased them. Our people up here in Findlay have no backbone.

What this will inevitably cause is people coming into work sick and infecting the office…smart call MPC….

MPC is the only company left that still “regulates” sick days. Treating 50 year old adults like children..lol

Well… once people have banked 14 days its use it or lose it. Lots of people going to be calling in sick at the end of year to burn sick time. Sickation baby!!!
This message was brought to you by an MPC employee… working for id--ts
