So to finally stop the bleeding of people, MPC goes to 9/80s next month….hearing that there’ll be two promotion cycles a year starting next year, what else have you all heard is happening in order to keep people?

Well promotions are out for the chosen few
the introduction of a 9/80 schedule...for real? BP just took that "entitlement" benefit away from USA workers. Every other friday off is equivalent to an extra 5 weeks of vacation. You can caddy for management or schedule all your errands and appointments; the choice is yours.
For Findlay, 9/80s will be available for anyone who’s a member of the country club. On your off day, you’ll be required to caddy for a member of the management team
All of refining is going to 9/80s I believe
Haven’t heard anything about Findlay going to 9/80. Is it just certain locations?
Someone finally wised up and starting bringing back all the things Andeavor used to do - what a novel concept! Blows my mind someone in Findlay is probably getting kudos for these "brilliant" ideas.
I heard instead of hiring people based on merit, qualifications, experience they will now shift to ensure they are nearing quotas based on race, s-x and se-ual orientation.
“Promotion cycles” lol
No other company has this nonsense. Promote people when they are ready, not based on some arbitrary date.
When are promotions going to happen now? First I've heard of this
4/1, 9/80, raises are nice but they aren’t addressing the real reasons people are leaving.
Wow, 9/80s. Welcome to 1990!! I’m sure we’ll hire a department to make sure everyone is doing their full 9 hour days.
