Thread regarding Follett layoffs

It's not all about the money

I wanted to leave this year but haven’t found anything that gives me as good a schedule as I have at Follett. That’s important. It’s not all about money. I hope to leave next year and praying a great position becomes available.

So much this. People are so quick to jump at any opportunity that comes with even a minimal pay increase, and then they find themselves in the same if not worse situation than here. Weigh your options, folks. Make sure you're truly leaving for a better opportunity.

Do what's best for you and your family.
Don't knock yourself for Follett.
It will get you nothing.
When the calculus says we need to cut, you will be cut or you will be expected to do your job and the person that was cut job too. While senior management tell you how well THEY are doing.
