Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Mass Exodus

Hug your favorite ops person because after March they will be gone. Devon and continental are poaching talented people that are tired of the CHK circus.

I totally agree, I know the EHS field consultant that was let go over not wanting to lye about what happened in BV, He was best safety man CHK ever had. In my opinion they should have kept him, But like he said there has to be an excap goat in every company. Promise you he is not happy about it at all. And if your wondering who he is. PS

OP was obviously joking. There's no talented people to poach at CHK.

no need to worry - CEO Nic ee' can handle any and all field ops, drilling and completion - just give him 2 weeks in the field with service company hands and Nic will be getting kick backs on his kick backs

Chk fired everyone that refused to lie about safety, spills, loss of life, and reserves. Great company for the young engineers to learn good morals and decency. There are a lot of trap doors to he-l waiting for Chesapeake managers and VP's. Karma is a real bi--h!

Why stick around after March at this place since nobody cares about ethics or safety in the field anymore. See what happens if you speak up about policy violations, you are fired for BS made up stuff. Wondering what type of Christmas the family of people that died because of policy violations in BV will have but same management allowed to continue living the good life here.
