I am very disappointed in GF. Before I didn’t even want to hear from those who were telling me that it is very much "whom you know" here, but now I see that it’s really true. Those who know the important people here, they stay at GF because they are comfortable. Those who do not have such connections, they leave because for them it's not nearly as nice here. Isn't it sad what GF is turning into?

i have seen that "power point" it was eye opening, but sadly some of the names mentioned in that "power point" is till doing well in GF.
@4zzn+1esJe7zE
You had me until you outed yourself with "commiserate"
its who you know and not what you know that gets you moving in GF ... look at Tom's Team when he was Fab 8 GM .. who is left ?? go figure .. and where is that individual now .. so its who you know
Honestly, there are people at Global who will never be happy or grateful no matter where they work. They will blame management and or company culture rather their own complacency, on their position and happiness. It's toxic... There is plenty of oppurtunity at GF. Some of us work hard and take advantage of those oppurtunities. While others commiserate.
@egg+1esJe7zE I see we have a real OG amongst us. That was a beautiful day at GF
Not limited to here. Either learn to play the game or start to think about another career.
Figure out what you need to do to get your name in front of upper management. Yes, you will have to swallow your pride and lose a lot of self respect but that is the game.
I did not play well with others so I never went up the corporate ladder.
Ask an old timer for a.copy of the "power point" which was written by an employee as he exited the company.
Honestly, it's that way in life. And well,, ife isnt always fair...
