Freddie Mac retention numbers are abysmal. Hiring is terrible because HR can’t keep up with demand (HR has their own retention issues).
This is true and it's hurting those of us who are staying. Our workload keeps growing (while our pay remains the same, of course). This is prompting more people to leave and creates a kind of a Catch 22 situation. I'm not sure what can be done to fix this, but something has to be done or there'll be nobody left to do the work.
Affinity based company. No new ideas friends hire and promote each other.
I haven’t been at Freddie that long and am getting fed up. Always new work and getting pulled in a million directions.
It’s probably Division specific.
I’m debating leaving myself. What I’ve observed is that after I interview, I hear nothing from the recruiter or the hiring manager for about 2 months….then when I finally hear something it’s the recruiter following up with me to let me know that the position was cancelled.
I don't make enough money
Freddie mac stock is a fraction of what it was in 2007. Know why? Because the government will never let them become private. The company will never be competitive in the marketplace. Only fools and those with no real skills will stay.
Execs know and are crapping their pants for when bonuses get paid.
