Employees who are respected and treated like they make a difference will go out of their way to truly make a difference. Employees who are treated badly and like they're nothing but a cost will not try half as hard. The better you treat us, the better the company will do. It's that simple.

I remember Bob M telling my LFP class: 'If you're going to criticize someone, make sure you first recognize their successes and effort.' Bob wasn't perfect by any means (exhibit 1: Phil Hess) However, I felt like Bose cared about employees more than the typical company.
Especially in 2022. The labor shortage is so painful, it'll be hard to recruit and hire unless we change how we treat the worker.
