I left a while back. Right around that time some McKinsey ghouls were in, trying to get everyone to come up with "efficiency" ideas. Just wondering how'd that go?
Hard to know if i am being honest.
Something about 'waves' is about all i got from it all (which i suspect means as much to you as it does to me).
Any actual results though that impact the company positively either have not happened or have happened just most people will be oblivious to them.
I think those McKinsey people read "The Emperor's new clothes" story and hit upon pure gold.
THey were brought in to introduce efficiences. And their great insight and input with their wealth of experience was to ........ "ask the staff". So pay us a lot of money to have no actual ideas other than to suggest you ask the people who you already employ. Better still...pay us more money to run the program of asking YOUR staff for ideas that we can then present to you and kind of make it ours.
Thats why those guys are on the big bucks.
