Thread regarding Williams Cos. layoffs

Dividends , Stock Price, LNG & Layoffs

Looks like this year may be a good year for Williams. I don’t predict any massive layoffs with
dividend stocks coming back in favor and LNG demand staying strong. You never know what will happen though.

After 25 years was laid off in February,
I was in operations, then took a position as a company inspector with the construction department, my manager called to meet at our facility and was told very briefly your position has been eliminated, but you can return 3rd party, which was fine, a week later HR said you can’t come back
What’s funny I turned 60 5 days prior to my lay off, although I did receive my pension 401k and bonus, it was a good run just lost all respect for uncle Wi---e

I worked my way thru high school and most of college as a waitress, my parents didn't pay for my college. Started many days at 6am, weekends etc... But got my Business degree. Williams hired me, but several scoffed at me for not having an internship at a big company. Nailed my coffin shut when i didn't understand why meetings didn't start at 8am and questioning the value of some of the long meetings where nothing was accomplished. My boss told me that I "walked too fast".
At Williams less than 3 years, as I didn't fit in with the culture.
