The rest of us are planning to leave because they keep expecting us to pick up their work and continue like it's a normal thing. Not only that isn't physically possible, but none of us are insane to let them keep increasing our workload that was already high without giving us extra pay. They're in for quite a surprise very soon.

Did anything happen?? I haven't seen anything.
I worked with the Prumerica folk many years ago too; they got the Job done and I can’t recall ever having any problems with them. We hosted them many times and I even managed to visit them once as well.
I do have some good friends and old colleagues who were still working with Prumerica when the transformation started and from what I’ve heard the transition has not been good at all.
I’m retiring in a few months so I’m keeping my head down until I’m out. If I was younger I would not be staying here. There are more changes coming and the rug is literally gonna get pulled from under lots of folk unfortunately. It saddens me that the company has completely lost its soul.
Similar to what’s happening in our team. It’s a mission critical application. The workload is insane and the continuous mantra is to do much much more with less.
In addition to this most of our old Pramerica development team (some with 15+ years experience) in Ireland either resigned or were moved to non prudential projects after they were taken over by TCS. Their replacements are based in India and since they are all new are really struggling and seem to have a very high attrition rate.
An enormous amount of IT technical knowledge seems to have been lost. We still have one old Pramerica who is literally firefighting every day and is holding everything together. We are losing her in 2 weeks and I feel like it’s going to be very bumpy for quite some time when she’s gone.
I’ve started looking for work elsewhere and as soon as I find a good fit I’m gone too.
I'm so sorry :( Which group or dept!?
