I've begun to despise this place because I feel quite helpless to react to the injustice I see.

Injustice? The President has no respect for Academic Affairs. He has driven the University into the ground financially and culturally. There is complete chaos throughout every AU. We have no leadership. The flat environment is just an opportunity to cut funds and make faculty work administrator roles without any real compensation or power to complete the job.
Lately, I hate it here. I keep hoping things will improve. Pay is horrible. Students are not getting a decent education.
