KCMO rejects plan to buy 1300 Washington (Argus) building due to substandard condition

No wonder DST is laying off, It would take up to 15 million to make the building safe and habitable per the city. And we were working in that rathole!

You may want to read the article a little closer. It was Jackson County not KCMO. The plan was a total of 15 million, 9 million for building and 6 for renovations to make it usable for the non-court related functions. Even when the county legislature rejected, they still expressed intent that they wanted to move forward with it. It was approved last week.

The cost to make the improvement to the Jackson County Courthouse was 255 million.

Well I knew DST would lay me off. So I made as many mistakes as possible without it looking obvious! And took all my documentation that I put together on how to do my job. Tee -Hee!
