Avaya has ZERO Human Resources or Culture Police to protect employees or the company from cultivating a toxic environment. They actually do the opposite....the PRETEND to have resources by stating in their Published Culture Handbook that employees are ENCOURAGED to speak up and share, without retaliation, if they see or experience anything that compromises the integrity of the workplace, yet when employees do they have a 🎯 on their head. The so- called team that "investigates" goes to the reporting employees manager before speaking to the employee. They conduct an investigation AGAINST the employee before hosting the "safe space" meeting the employee was promised. And they conclude the outcome before speaking to the employee. And of course, the employee is told they are a low performing employee and since the concern didn't violate "civil rights", there is nothing they can do, and then warn the employee that they are being watched. It is absolutely and utterly absurd.
They need a Culture 🚨! Employees need resources. The Leadership at the Top that have cultivated this as the norm must go. There is liability for the organization who published a Code of Conduct that is not enforced.
