If the money is put in the correct hands the government allows anything.

We all know that the Govt will not all any merger between GE and RTX. But there are a handful of potential partners that would make sense. Well, that is a couple of years down the road.

The question is so easy to answer. The new CEO and his closest cronies will reap millions in total compensation while the rest of us will get stuck with stagnant wages, diminishing benefits, mediocre stock performance, and penny dividends.

A lot of people predicted all those things including me.

Who can predict anything when it comes to GE? Who could have predicted a pandemic would stop us in our tracks 2+ years now? Who predicted two 737 MAX plane crashes would slow down the production of the promising LEAP engine? Who predicted the supply chain would fall apart? Who predicted five years ago a new CEO would sell profitable divisions to pay down massive debts? Who predicted the CEO would split up the remaining pieces? If anything can go wrong at GE, it will. Murphy’s Law is the norm here.

It will look terrible. With runaway inflation as it is now, no one but the very rich will be able to buy a ticket. Future covid strains, unexpected crashes, supply chain disruptions, and other disasters will slow us down and eat away profits. Prepare to walk or ride a bike everywhere. Sorry. I wish I had better news.

It will probably look a lot like it does now.

Our services contracts are written in decades, not years. And services is the ca$h cow.
