Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

DST H.R. policy on layoffs of spouses of Management>

What is DST's policy on a layoff when the prospective person to be cut is married to upper management (or living with them). I am curious. I know alot of top management at DST married or dated women they work/worked with. How are the layoff rules applied in this case? Any examples? Thank you.

HR is not a credible source of information, they are there only to protect the company and executives from legal problems.

"Dst would axe Betty White if she worked there.."

I would hope so. She is not very productive at this point.

If they were good in the sack they can stay. If not they lose their job

Is there a published formula?

Lol I’d love it if someone from HR actually responded to this! Who’s laid off and who’s not? It’s simple really they use a spreadsheet with names and salaries sorted by salary, highest at the top. Then, if no one claims them they’re gone. So the key is to make your boss think you’re invaluable whether that is working the sheets or your job well this crew isn’t asking too many questions, clearly!

Great question. Lay both off at once. Or cut just one, walk them out with a security guard but allow the other lover to stay at DST and have access to data? What is the rule on this?

Yes I would like to know also. Do the management's spouses or romantic interests get to keep their jobs? How are layoffs determined? Is there a published formula?
