Thread regarding Zoom layoffs

Don't expect good news tomorrow

Things keep getting worse the more the situation with the pandemic improves. The majority of businesses (small and large) are pushing for RTO, which makes Zoom obsolete. This will be more obvious than ever during tomorrow's earnings report. I think we should all be prepared for significant cuts in the future.

SMB slowing down, Enterprise still accelerating. TAM has increased massively as new products are added, and there are literally hundreds of product roles being added. C-Suite needs a shakeup, and not everything is perfect, but this thing has legs.

Zoom is not a 'Remote Work' company, it's a Hybrid Work company. No successful enterprise in their right mind will be 100% RTO, unless they want to lose their top talent to their more flexible competitors.

Looking at the stock history, it's only artificially inflated due to the pandemic. Looks like it's just heading back to 'normal' along with everything else. It could drop another 35-45% in the coming months.
