There was a stealth layoff across product management in marketing cloud and platform last week. Around 50 people impacted. There will be more of those as this don’t require any disclosure.
I somehow doubt either company is what it used to be even 5 years ago.
VMware bonuses were also paid on April 15th, and now the resignations are starting to roll in. I guess all the good people are finally fed up with all the BS they are going to take.
VMware employee here looking over at a number of open positions at Salesforce, and wondering if the grass is greener. From what I read on this forum, it sounds like it is not really any better at CRM. I suppose both companies have fallen quite far from where they where a decade ago, am I right?
Bonuses were paid out April 15 so alot of people were waiting for that before giving notice.
I've also noticed a lot of people leaving the company lately...
Several posts on LI today about Friday being folks' last day. Coincidence, or...?
There will always be another round. There was more emphasis on the 2020 round because of the amount of redundancies and because it happened during the initial height of the pandemic.
Best to always assume the next round is not far away.
When did they imply another round? I thought after the 2000 layoff or something few year back, the management team saying no more
no layed off - but happy i left SFDC. This not the company I joined years ago. Its getting more and more restricted, under the banner of "equality"
No official news so far, but the Q&A session last week with CMOs was a bit shrouded when addressing "overlap and redundancies."
Hu?
