Thread regarding Emerson Electric Co. layoffs

Be clear on Emerson’s Russia position

The spin they are taking is that they have stopped all new investments in Russia. They are still operating in Russia—see Metran.

Yale school of management gives Emerson a D grade. EMR still operating but had stopped new investment. InBev gets an F. Boeing has a B. They need some titanium but have scaled back everything else.

Or complaints to the board. They are clearly A-OK with Emerson’s position

It would be easy to furlough staff there and be doing the decent moral thing for our employees, whilst stopping paying tax funding genocide to the Russian government. However, the business chooses not to.
All internal comms are Kremlin sympathetic - 'Ukraine Conflict' is a complete misnomer.
I see some ex employees have taken to LinkedIn to make their position on Emerson's position clear.
I suggest anyone reading should consider submitting an anonymous ethics compliance report, as perhaps if enough are received then something will be done.

They would sell our organs on the black market to meet shareholder expectations

So it was OK for EMR to continue doing business in the US when when Americans ki---d 250K people during the invasion? Or when Russia bombed and ki---d thousands in Syria or Chechnya. It's easy to just tell EMR to abandon 1000 employees in Russia and turnover keys of a plant to the Russian government as it is the fashionable thing to do.

Just beyond shameful. It's a Godless Company, truly immoral and heartless.

Supporting genocide on behalf of the shareholders. That’s sure to help with the culture problem Lal helped create.
