Thread regarding Bose layoffs

Is selling off Pro the final nail in the coffin?

Dropped the ball on Pro. One of the oldest product divisions, and together with ASD, one of the divisions that has historically bailed the company out in years when home entertainment, headsets, and other divisions lost. Selling off Pro is huge. Pro will bail out the company's losses one more time, when its sold, and its absence will be another nail in the coffin. It becomes more and more obvious that the current executive team's mission is to close the place down. A controlled implosion, protecting the interests of the few at the expense of the workers and professionals who built the place.
Pro is one of the biggest stories, and the globe intern glossed over it with some handwaving.

Nicely put, @2oui+1gyXwo1G.

Bose simply not the sound brahmin no more.
Funky reflective boxes was the start and the end is in a stretched Cadillac.

Should have gotten into implants when going was good.

Losing Cadillac would be a HUGE setback, and a big hit to Bose's weakening reputation. Remember the US flag, the MA flag, and the Cadillac flag (replacing the Bose flag) on the three CC flagpoles when Caddy execs were visiting?

When Mercedes cancelled the Bose system in the S-Class, and Amar Bose decided to respond by pulling out of all Mercedes models, the reputation took a huge hit, but Cadillac was more prestigious and profitable than Mercedes ever was.

The life preservers are slowly being deployed , I heard automotive has lost some significant clients (Cadillac) and making the small systems can’t be anywhere as profitable as the major ones

No, selling Pro is not the final nail. Selling ASD will be the final nail Not "may" but "will."
