It seems like the Oxy dividend did not go up. Is that correct?
They made all of this money last quarter and they are not giving it back to the shareholders. That stinks. Sure they are doing buybacks but it isn’t as good as a higher dividend.

Now if only the comp manager could calculate it correctly on payouts..it’s been wrong in my check more than once.
Yes
And the dividend should have been increased again. Another 13 cents would be hardly anything extra compared to other expenditures. They don’t care about the shareholders until they turn on them which could happen.
OP, since 6/12/20, OXY has been paying a dividend of $.01/share. For dividend on 3/9/22, it was increased to $.13/share. No subsequent dividends have been paid or announced. Just check the charts, all of the dividends are indicated.
“Why does Oxy release earnings so late? Do they get to choose or is it a lottery system.” Were you fully awake when you posted this?
Gosh, I wonder if they are paying down debt before increasing the dividend? Oh my, that’s so surprising! Who would have thought they would prioritize paying down debt? I mean, they only mention it in every earnings call. How d-mb are you people? Of course they are paying down debt first. The dividend will increase over time.
Why does Oxy release earnings so late? Do they get to choose or is it a lottery system. Stock would have kicked bu-t if they would have released them several weeks ago. Not expecting much but a little bump.
This was just published somewhere
HOUSTON, May 06, 2022 -- Occidental (NYSE: OXY) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.13 per share on common stock payable on July 15, 2022, to stockholders of record as of June 10,
It has not gone up from last quarter even though they are making a ton of cash. What is going on here? A beefy dividend would help the stock price which would help fend off takeovers, assuming they want to not get bought.
It did get raised a little, but not what it was pre-Covid.
