Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

More people just left the team for greener pastures! Hows that "Performance-Based Compensation" policy working out?

The subject of compensation comes up at every all hands and our VP just shrugs it off saying HR assures that we pay market rate - a joke! Buzzword is 'Performance-based compensation' - a lie! We just lost more people on our team leaving a skeleton crew to cover a higher workload. Kiss your SLA goodbye. Metrics? those are for C-Suites and above, just like the raises. Problem is that pay rate is locked into yearly review, can not flex with needs and fast market. Good luck to any employees coming in with acquisitions, you're gonna live the good life now!

Yeah, our "leadership team" can take their title only promotions and insert them where the sun don't shine.

Pay for performance? NOT! Performance for pay is the only way. Only do what you were hired to do and only up to the current value of your actual pay in today's devalued dollars. Our "Leadership Team" and all the Oracle "Type A" brown nosers can go FORK themselves. All the tough talkers who've been canned already but keep coming back to this forum can do the same. Take everything you deserve and more from the big "O SHIRT" and feel no guilt, "THEY" don't! Keep on working 2 hours a day and collecting pay for 8, use the other 6 for your side hustle. That is the only way to adjust for the cost of living at Oracle.

People are leaving in Q4.
Go figure?

They are also getting a lot more money, with a bonus structure that is both fair and obtainable!

Market rates? Ha!
