Depere is staying open to do the national sour cream account for Taco Bell, just ending fluid milk. All milk is being replaced by Kemps label with gallons coming from cederburg and halved from Michigan for the IL region for now, they dropping the trailers in the Huntley yard. Weird to drive by and see deans trailers there again
This is what happens when you have so much nepotism. Dean foods, DFA, and Borden are all run by the same id--ts over and over. You have the Crone family, the Condon family, Brett Johnson and the list goes on. Daddy passes it down to junior who doesn't know sh-t but gets it by relation(aaron crone). They then get promoted and instead of good fresh innovation from new blood we get bull cr-p sayings like "thats how we've always done it" . To all deans/dfa/borden management eat a di-k.
It’s going to be shuttered by the hedge fund company and used as a write off for their stock losses this year. It was actually profitable but it being a jo--t venture with Borden it was more or less a worthless side project for them. It’s not like the alcohol industry, profit margin is slim at best.
ANYONE have more info on this closure? what is going to happen?
Maybe like 10 workers among the whole staff, people sleep in their car half the night or get promoted to management after being fired for se-ual harassment. What a joke
Lazy workers who don't want to do anything but get paid good money. There is your result. Now they want to put in the work, too late the dream is over now. No DFA to save the place. Not when you're losing hundreds of thousands a month. Let it go now see who else will pay your unskilled labor top dollar.
Royalty? That place ain't no lemars. Although there is a huge billboard inside that says it's the mothership of dean foods even though it hasn't been a deans plant for a couple years
