Correcting other people's mistakes

It's a pleasure to help a young employee who is willing to work and learn and whose mistakes affect me too. However, sometimes I am way too tired for it. Do you fix your coworker's mistakes when covering their work?

People helped you when you started.... What a stupid post.

Depends on the individual. If it takes a long time to fix their mistakes and they make more in the process then it is better to fix them yourself. You can keep a record of the number of times and if you are their supervisor their rating will be impacted. If it is a real problem then they should be terminated for performance issues.
