Thread regarding ARM Holdings PLC ADS layoffs

Arm IPO

Heard that iPO is still planned for March 2023. Mgt must living in utopia if they think that Arm should be valued at $60B given the market conditions. Also employees were offered fewer RSU shares then prior years. Company is so cheap.

How are RSUs now calculated? What is $1000 of RSU valuation based upon when public?

They COULD cancel the IPO, give everyone paper stocks to save cash, then dilute the stocks for a few more years until the market is favourable for them, sell their stake to a conglomerate/UK government then let the employees hold the worthless RSUs afterwards.

It's to create as much money for Softbank as possible. By the time ARM employees get to sell Masa will have dumped his positions and it will be less than what Softbank originally paid for it, and that is in a favourable market.

Softbank is going to have a lot of pi---d investors eager to liquidate.
