Is there a job that you think is great here? i see a lot of people complaining, admin people, finance, corporate, store, etc. Everyone is unhappy?
Is there a job at hy-vee that would make you a happy employee, something that makes sense, pays well, is rewarding, has purpose?
Honestly, is there such a job?
When the ceo and board make decisions and really don’t explain those decisions well or how the he-l to implement them with zero help, and expect and demand impossible numbers, the idea of a happy great job here seems laughable at best. We need more stable leadership, period.
It's not the job, it's the culture. In a toxic corporate culture like Hy-Vee's, you're going to be unhappy in any position, whether retail, warehouse, administrative, whatever. In a positive and affirming culture, you can find satisfaction in any role where you can use your talents and experience. Prior to the last 10 years, Hy-Vee was that kind of place. Not any more.
