Thread regarding TIBCO Software Inc. layoffs

I checked out the Citrix page today

What kind of mess did we get ourselves into?? That place seems like a complete mess! I am well aware that TIBCO is far from perfect but some of the things I've read there are downright scary. I was never looking forward to this merger but I have to say that my enthusiasm has reached a new low.

I've noticed the same thing.

It's messy.

I know two engineers that work for Citrix, both of they are amazing, top notch professionals. I am not sure about their mgmt and leadership, but I am sure their engineering is solid.

Back in end of 2014, early 2015 you could see the same kind of messages on the TIBCO board after the Vista acquisition (everybody is leaving … and etc). At the end not everybody left, new hires came and the company is still doing well. It should be said also that many of the one that left in 2015 already changed job again (and even multiple times for some of them).
But that being said I agree there is a lot of uncertainty at the moment and I hope this not going to last much longer.
I think We are going to see more changes in the coming months than we have seen in many years.

Hey there! I'm a Citrix employee, and I wish I could say you were wrong... our company has a long culture of amazing management, high employee moral, riveting benefits, but it has reallyyyyyyyyyyyy gone down hill with the new Leadership we have. I'm hopeful that things will turn around, since they have before, but who knows. Attrition at Citrix is at 33%... there may not be much of a company to merge with after it's all said and done. I'm truly heartbroken to see this company go downhill. They've always been very good to me. I check the Tibco page regularly to see if I can learn anything new too. Just keep in mind that only complainers go to these pages, so what you read on the Citrix page will not always be 100% accurate or indicative of the company -- though we're def not in the best place for sure.
