When something goes wrong in our store, the manager points a blame on everyone except those who are really responsible for it. Does this happen in your store as well? I’m really tired of getting blamed for things that aren’t my fault. My impression is that most managers here actually know very little about what is really going on in the store.

What do you expect from a belk manager? Certaintly not any decency or understanding. Belk is filled with so many toxic people that actually think that being a belk associate has value. When it really does not.
@3ath. It takes one to know one. Just saying.
"Not tattling on each other". In our store the manager sees exactly what's going on but ignores it if it is one of her group. Tattling on each other is the norm in our store. And they try to blame the wrong people but I make a fuss about it if is not true. And they go on and on in the morning meetings about what everbodys doing wrong and it is not the people that are doing any of it. And if you point that out they say to "pass it on ".
Well, that's what happens when you have one or two clever criminals on the team and a culture of "not tattling" on each other. You'll either have to pressure them into straightening up, run them off, say something... or live with it.
