Thread regarding Sungard Availability Services layoffs

Welcome to Daisy...a weed or a flower?

'According to some reports, Daisy Group has signed a deal to acquire the UK arm of Sungard, in a move that would see the company pick up Sungard's former customers, including major banks and other financial institutions.'

@1byj+1gS0AeLP which in the UK is the whole business. Most of the 'data centres' are not data centres at all.

From what I've read, Daisy has acquired sone of Sungards UK customers, as Sungard are unable to continue as a going concern.
Basically transferring customers over to keep continuity for them was best for the customers.
However this is just another indicator that the UK arm won't be able to recover from administration, if it's losing its customers its also losing revenue. I think its soon going into receivership.
