Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Hiring Freeze @ NCR

Anybody notice there are 0 job openings listed on the NCR site? 2 months ago there were hundreds. Last time there were 0 was during the AT&T buyout. No hiring until it is was settled if any folks coming from AT&T to NCR. Maybe Hayford and gang close to selling out everyone.

Have to love the term strategic review. Why did they make most of my team work on Memorial Day if times are rough. So paid holiday and time and a half working the Holiday very interesting. I’ve already heard of layoffs in certain parts of the country. Who will takeover this company at the share price they’re looking for?

All I know is that I was supposed to start working at Ncr and the offer was withdrawn because of loss of funding. Sounds like a takeover.

All the financial discussions are about a selling off the company. In order to sell there seeking 50-60 dollars a share tho most seem to not want to pay more than 40. So it’s a shitshow going o it appears.
Look on any website that shows stocks and has comment section.

https://seekingalpha.com/news/3829514-ncr-jumps-on-report-of-multiple-buyout-interest

NCR Corp. (NYSE:NCR) soared 11% on a report that it has attracted takeover interest from at least six parties as the ATM maker explores alternatives.
Apollo Global (APO) is one party that is said to have expressed interest, according to a Dealreporter item. The interest was said to be for $50/share or higher, though this was prior to NCR's earnings miss on Tuesday.
NCR is said to be leaning towards a sale of the entire company, according to Dealreporter. NCR wants to make a decision and finalize a transaction by the summer.
The report comes after NCR plunged 23% on Wednesday after the software company reported first quarter earnings that fell short of consensus.
NCR announced in early February that it started a strategic review that could include the sale of the company or some of its businesses, a spinoff, or other structural changes.
