Thread regarding Analog Devices Inc. layoffs

I can't believe this is legitimate

Analog Devices has a 4.0 average employee review on Glassdoor and CEO has 85 percent approval. I refuse to believe these are legitimate reviews by actual employees. I know of very few people who are currently happy at work and even fewer who believe Roche is doing a great job. Is this HR doing damage control or am I out of touch with how happy the general populace is?

I intend to believe HR is doing damage control. I think from an employee's point, Roche's rating is 0. He completely destroyed ADI's culture.

I have worked at ADI for over a decade and my glassdoor review is overall very positive. The vast majority of my colleagues are very happy at ADI as well.

I have heard that folks in manufacturing are often less satisfied than others have been, but those I knew in manufacturing retired some years ago and I no longer have much of an ear in that space. Design and verification engineers are, in my direct experience, generally quite happy here.

When I read the reviews sounds more like they are not in the states. And the work parties they have in the countries shows the difference. Analog Takes from the workers here , cost savings, mandates termination #layoffs, save $ save money

Most are miserable. The reviews are fake.

I also think many of the vague positive reviews on Glassdoor are from HR shill accounts. Everyone I know from multiple locations of legacy adi, maxim, and ltc has terrible morale. Lots of people leaving. Many who stay are hoping for packages. I’ve never seen a company falling apart like this with management doing nothing about it.

A few years ago (more than 7), they encouraged employees to post positive reviews on Glassdoor in order to further improve their standing in the Greatest Companies To Work For list (they were in the top 10, I believe) - back then, it felt like a legitimately good spot, but soon afterwards they put their foot in it. Based on what I'm hearing now, I don't believe it's so hot anymore.

I don’t know for ADI, but when I worked at Xilinx, they had their HR department set up shill accounts on Glassdoor and post fake reviews to boost the company rating. Any of these systems that can be gamed are gamed. This info came directly from someone in HR that had to do fake reviews.

Out of USA employees online seem to be happy , manufacturing @Headquarters moral very very low .. Budget cuts low pay , higher wages being at other USA locations except Wilmington.. parties were ongoing throughout pandemic in New Headquarters building while cutting jobs
