Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Competent employees bother them

There is less and less space for talented and competent employees here at State Farm. It's been very noticeable for some time now but why is it so? I don’t know the reason, but I know for sure that it doesn’t lead to a bright future for this company.

I agree --- That's why I tried to stop that stuff.

@6uqr The day anyone thinks another is d-mb, they should be looking at themself in the rear view.

Really short trip to “dum you down to nothing.”

Always know it is their agenda to silence you, take away your freedoms, and d-mb you down to nothing. They don't believe you should have any say in anything. It is their mission to have 100% control over you. Sorry, but Americans are more intelligent than the elites think.

No problem-spider monkeys and parrots will soon replace CA and CS positions.

Why would anyone in the right state of mind work for State Farm claims? A very physically and mentally I'll bunch of sheep. Laptop keyboard input with no analysis nor thought. Unethical leadership. If you are competent or ethical and you stay you will pay a heavy price for hypocrisy.

@5hbb. I’m more than well aware of that. I’m still at the Farm, just not in claims.

It's not so much competent as much as it is honest and ethical. The workers they are hiring are a direct reflection of leadership just as the old timers who were hired on back in the day the company was appreciative and cared about each and every interaction with internal and external customers. That is what made us the leader. Today, it is strictly an accounting function and take care of yourself. They have forgotten the core values and will eventually learn hopefully before it's too late.

They are sick of working with brainless monkeys. They can go elsewhere and work with professional claim personnel.

A number of high profile Directors and Claim Managers have resigned in the last several months. Senior leaders should be asking themselves why tenured, high ranking leaders feel the need to leave the organization.

competent workers cost money honey and that goes against the grain of tipsturd’s philosophy of paying workers less while expecting them to do more work.

That is unfortunate because they get exposed to the worst claims people in the industry.

Let’s see a person has a claim and then the claims person has to explain how coverage works-how odd.

Let’s be honest, we need to get rid of agency. Everyday I work claims, I have to explain how coverages work with our insured. So many agency commitment issues.

@1cun-you have to admit we have the worst claims force in the industry. They do as little as possible, complain all the time and struggle daily. Those are just from claim employee postings here….

@fzo+1gUTMjb6 D-mbest thing I have read today so far. Come on over to claims but make sure your mommy is put on notice so she can give you your snack after you come home crying.

Self medicating is the problem on both the inside and outside at all levels. It causes mental problems. Self medicating is a selfish act. Remember.....it's all about me and it's a business decision creates a ripe recipe for self medicating and psych problems. It's even worse when it is accepted behavior in leadership. A trainwreck.

Claims is hard. It's been 26 years since I left claims....but getting yelled at all day by people you never did anything to is just hard. And today, people are much meaner and angrier in general.

There are no competent employees in claims. Underwriting yes, systems a few, claims zero.
