Thread regarding W.B. Mason layoffs

Is WB Mason a horrible employer?

I have an offer but I've been hearing stuff that's making me reconsider joining.

You should 100% believe what people are saying. WB treats their employees terribly.

Friendly advice...

It's a toxic company. If you're desperate for this job, then take it. But look for a new job as soon as you start.

Until leadership changes nothing else will at that company. I've been much happier and wealthier since leaving.

This will be honest advice to you as a former employee. If you need short term sales experience and have not done it before, this may be a good option for you because if you fail, it is not on you. Trust me..

If you have a ton of sales experience and you want your next job to be long-term, I would not recommend because the company will not give you the tools to succeed and you will be setup for failure.

I have heard a lot of mixed reviews for marketing, purchasing, IT, or any corporate level job, but overall it could be fine. I would just stay away from any front line customer support or sales, unless desperately need experience.

Should I believe it or is it just former employees bad-mouthing the company?
