Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

I had senior management tell me specifically what specific employees had said How do I know what these employees said, they trusted me and how they answered. The whole thing is a total waste of time and money. They’ll come up with programs and meetings and whatever other ho------t to “address problems” and the very second it gets traction they’ll pull the plug!

We just started saying everything is wonderful here…

Who cares if it’s anonymous or not. Doesn’t make much difference when everybody replies that the place sucks worse than falling in dog shiit

As an x-employee I know for certain that the survey responses are not really anonymous. They are targeted at the supervisor level. So a supervisor may not know which employee, but the small the group the easier it is to figure out. All the responses in a department are used for the supervisor's review.

Barnum and Bailey Circus! Ran by Executives who don’t have a clue! They are so out of touch with the everyday employee that it’s humorous! All they care about is their large salary and will cut anyone out who is in their way. Just the place I want to work at! That place is toxic to say the least!

The Employment Engagement survey is a complete joke. It comes around every 6 months with the same questions. As if something major has changed and would make the results different than 6 months ago. Question - would you recommend a friend or family to work at Lumen? Answer = NO. 6 months later. Would you recommend a friend or family to work at Lumen? Answer = Still duck hunting NO. I should be able to counter-respond these questions. Did you hand out raises? Hire more personnel to keep the ship afloat? Issue out new computers, new tech for us to use? At the minimum, ask how my day was and offer me doughnut? No kisses thanks. ha. But I wonder if the results go to India and the India Project team's answer is to darken the font on the next survey.

They are tracking us, I am 100% sure.

They are tracking verything we say or do.

Why would you volunteer any info?

The execs do not tell me how they feel. And when they say something they lie. So why would I share anything?

To me it seems like biofeedback therapy. Biofeedback does not work in all situations. Luckily they aren't using beeping sounds or flashing lights yet. Although they can do other things to create these conditions.

The purpose of the survey is to judge you and your crew, not feedback for the company. The execs have said before that craft are whiners so they expect poorer ratings.

Yeah anonymous. An older guy I worked with had absolutely had enough. He sent in a horrible one. He was in the SROs office in no time. There was actually an SRO who filled them out for his crew so they wouldn't say anything bad.

This is easy. We were FORCED to take it. SRO beat on us saying VP says we still have X number of people who haven't taken it. Funny thing. The ones who told the truth all no longer work here. Want out? Tell the truth.

Geeeeee, I wonder how management employees will respond on a survey after getting 100% payout on their bonuses they didn’t deserve… The whole thing is a bunch of garbage so managers can pat themselves on the back for doing nothing
