Thread regarding DST Systems layoffs

Time to go - take action and leave

These executives held two damn town halls talking about cost of living raises, making pay more competitive with the market. And then want to hand out these 2 and 3 percent increases like they doing something for us. It’s time to get the f*k out. It is disrespectful to say the least, and they about to see how this treatment is backfiring. I know a sht ton of people bouncing from this piece of sh*t company, it’s time to do the same. People been ghosting left and right, can’t get anyone to apply, and now it’s time for the tenure to do the same and move on. No more work horse mentality. Let’s make a move.

I didn't hear them refer to the increases as cost of living, only as merit increases

I don’t know that’s how it works when they called it a cost of living and market comparison analysis. Your department revenue should have squat to do with that.

easy, you work in a group that's doing well, growing revenues, etc. then you might have gotten a good raise... if you're not, well guess what.

A 3% raise is much better than they were handing out a few years back. Companies tend to invest in things where their priorities are and let everything else slide into the abyss. So now that things are improving from terrible to awful, I just wonder why people continue to stay there if you are not offshore or in management? It does not seem to have a good future. Can’t anyone defend that place?

What a joke. This couch change(raise) is what was supposed to help with the cost of living yet, it won't even put a dent in the amt we pay for gas to go back and forth to the office to be overworked and underpaid.

Do little as possible and don't care what they think. Take care of yourself. It works for me.

You should see offshores increases…double digits

Every thinks they will get big raises and bonus, but they continue to show you who they are

Stop saying you’re going to quit and do it. I left a month ago and am at a better place

Most frustrating is that some areas got increases above 10%. How they choose to reward some areas and not others is sick. The amount of short staff we have and to get rewarded nothing is a slap in the face.

Yep. This was the nail in the coffin. Any motivation I had left is gone.
