Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

No high hopes

Apart from the people who are here only until they find something better, only those who still believe and hope that something will get better remain at NCR. I listened in disbelief to my colleague the other day who is convinced that everything will get better.

Those who have not yet found something better will surely find it in the end, but I feel sorry for those who were somehow convinced by the bosses that it will soon be much better here. My advice is to give up on those high hopes.

NCR is a good place for people to start or get a large company on their resume and then move on. My experience has been a complete disappointment from Day 1 when I discovered that I wasn't joining a team...I was THE team. There is so much disconnected between the C Suite and those who actually do the work you'd think they're employed by different companies.

It’s funny, leadership looks here and thinks this is small outset of employees. This is rather, a succinct cross sampling of employees showing the overall morale and employee perception at this company. We all feel this way, but few of us know about this outlet and even less aren’t so fearful of it, that we will post.
Great place to work my ar-e.
