Thread regarding Lumen Technologies layoffs

Is there anyone left who even cares enough to comment? Or are all the comments from those who left that are either very happy or very bitter?

Started there in 2001 and after Centurystink took over everything went downhill. Just as I thought things could not get worse Lumen happened and the pile of sh-t got worse.

Happily left right after the announcement of Lumen and sleep better. Life is good once your out. That place is filled with incompetent Directors and Kiss a-s Managers who do not have a shred of integrity.

In our area (mid atlantic) there are two companies formed by former techs and a director. Both are ki----g it. Not that there were that many business customers to take, but they skimmed the cream of the crop.
They pretty much hired all the techs that left that were worth anything and now our SRO cries the blues and bad mouths them. There is life after this place.

Left last year and don't see the bounty of jobs suggested. KPGCo is building a workforce to replace union workers in all phone companies as the opportunity comes. They're just waiting out contracts. Those jobs are easy to get with our qualifications but you'll be traveling multiple states staying in smoke-filled flea bag motels for a fraction of what you currently make.

Either way there is no reason to post. Year 2021 was the same as 2020 and 2022 is another duplicating year. Difference in all is the Stock. In 2017 we got as high as $26 a share. 2018 $24 high. And currently we are at $10 and some change. We sold off 20 states and the Latin market, plus obtained government contracts but still can't get back to $26. Eventually you will have to put the horse down. Would people be excited if Sears posted layoffs?
