Looking like all crafts will see some good numbers being called back after July 4th from very reliable sources.

Why would they do a recall when there is no new work in the shop? Conversions are on schedule. Only thing new are wrecks in the backshop. A few extra people here and there would be nice but realistically they won’t do a recall with the workload we have right now.

I'd probably go back but I don't see this happening any time soon.

You have a better chance of getting stuck by lightning than getting a call there. In fact, IF Norfolk Southern signs a contract which is very UNLIKELY, but if they do, they'll need more smoke and mirrors creativity to stay at .60 operating ratio. What does that mean? More closures in key places. Cindy was in Altoona recently and she was there to show Shaw the area for sh#ts N giggles. They're looking at doing something systemwide.

Is it worth coming back to? From what I hear nobody has anything good to say about the place. Would love to hear some honest feedback.
