Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Ugly FY2022Q2 earnings

HPE once again drops the ball for their investors, just when I thought they were on the road to slight recovery. How does this company operate with nearly 10k more people than their HP Inc. counterpart, yet accomplish about 267% less revenue? If I were an investor, I would take out my money from this ridiculous 12 cent/share dividend and go elsewhere.

Why haven't the board of directors voted how the mediocre leadership of this company? Neri MUST step down to prevent further damage of the company.

I guess on the bright side, HPE did make that large sale with the US government. But it's not enough... Server industry will require a massive recovery. HPE is survival mode, executives scratching their heads wondering what they're doing wrong.

Part of the problem IS the board of directors! For the past 20yrs, HPE has had terrible CEOs and Board of Directors.

Last year due to covid & supply chain issues HPE moved from compensating sales upon order shipments to compensating upon bookings. It's probably the only reason that the mass exodus didn't happen last year. Problem is, this strategy is draining free cash reserves at an astonishing rate and there is still no end in sight for supply chain problems. So, what will HPE do? I'm guessing (wait for it....) more layoffs.

And from the looks of their quarterly earnings Ricky Ricardo injecting his politics into the mix isn't winning customers either. The company really needs a real CEO so I can make a few extra bucks and get the heck out of Dodge...

The only strategy HPE has is to lay off people and move jobs to third world countries to reduce expenses. That's it, it's been this way for many years
