well done!! I saw this initial filing about a month ago. I dont see the updates, so any links are great!! Between this , the NJ and PA suits, the class action suit regarding the 3M mask rip off, and the se$ual harassment suits, it really shows the ethics of the company.
If the commission suit is decided favorably for the plaintiffs, a precedent would be established, and all the other cases would fall in line. Mason only retroactively started paying small awards because they got caught!!
hey steve, leo etc: The red man with the pitchfork is licking his chops!! You're done!!
FWB!!!!!
FWB,
There’s an amended version of this complaint as well as new exhibits containing declarations from former management that was posted yesterday online.
what will happen?
have the similar law suits in nj snd pennsylvania been decided yet?
if i recall, the same law firm filed for all plaintiffs ?
heres a quick summary, found within 2 seconds of doing a Google search of the words " wb mason lawsuits"
WB Mason Commissions Reduced Retroactively Class Action
FacebookTwitterPinterestLinkedInRedditShare
W.B. Mason Co. sells office supplies and related items, in part through account executives (AEs) or salespeople who sell or distribute the products. But the complaint alleges that the company has violated the New York Labor Laws (NYLL) and committed breach of contract and common-law fraud by retroactively reducing wages and commissions already earned by AEs.
The class for this action is never clearly stated but appears to be AEs who were commissioned and based in or working from New York for Mason, between June 3, 2016 and June 3, 2022, whose commissions were reduced after they were earned.
