Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

A couple of the top bods have bieng layd off.

But it's not going to change anything that much, needs a couple of mid to lower layers chopping as there's too much duplication and overhead.

I'm filling in 4 different time recording systems invented by various managers happy .

All of them think their system needs to be filled in mandatory.

Who is running this show?

Last day of June and I haven't heard of any layoffs. Merit reviews are on hold

  • delivery swinging the axe, certainly in the UK. In the UK maybe but not on this side of the pond!

"It's June 23 rd and no people were forced out of the company!"

That's not actually true.

Quite a few of the former ATT guys have been chopped, exit end of June.

I don't believe they are the only ones either - delivery swinging the axe, certainly in the UK.

The new CFO is chasing cost reductions and margin expansion all over, including looking at rolled up costs for each account.

It's June 23 rd and no people were forced out of the company! There will be no lay offs till after the July Stock holders meeting, when Mike the shouter gets named chairman of the board, but then WATCH OUT as heads will roll.

Originally the term layoff referred exclusively to a temporary interruption in work, as when factory work cyclically falls off. The term however nowadays usually means the permanent elimination of a position, requiring the addition of "temporary" to specify the original meaning.

So we don't have layoffs , as there is really no elimination of a position. It just goes to India
