Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

What is our vision?

Do we even have a long-term strategy in place, outside of getting rid of as many employees as possible? It feels like everything that is being done is to boost short-term numbers but very little is being done to improve the company's long-term prospects. Please, correct me if I'm wrong, I'd genuinely like to know.

When the next version of Platform-X is released (shortly), it will be a game changer. Industry will be surprised at the innovation and design thinking that has gone into this - it is digital transformation at its best bringing in an era of industrialized delivery model (soon to be patented). We will pave the way for the future of the Services business.

That's right, keep on taking those nice purple tablets and have a nice lie down now and you'll feel much better in the morning
While back in the real (services) world the powerpoint obsolete delivery model and old scripts that is Platform-X will continue to not make a ripple or appear on any analysts radar

Platform X is nothing that we didn't have with mainframes over 40 years ago!

DXC wants to be a services , value add company to cloud providers and not host anything. Look at all the training they are pushing fir mostly offshore. We can talk it but as my people manager says there won't be any positions at DXC for us

To: @1kks+1h9WFZHd If you want out, then find another job and leave! Really simple and if you can't understand that , I see why you haven't had a pay increase in years

There's no active talent left in DXC anymore; the ones that do work - are overloaded with work, ill paid, tired, treated like %^^%^% and want out

1h9WFZHd - why shouldn't people voice their issues / concerns about this company, if you don't like the posts then don't read them and visit another web site instead.

STOP already , DXC is offering FREE training in just about everything as well as SAP. Take the training and if you don't like it here , then try to find a better paying, less stress job. If not SHUT the Duck (replace the D with an F) up already.

No I am not a a$$ kisser, but sick of all these posts that don't help anyone.

M2 has been in for 3 years now, and the main strategy is fairly clear.

The strategy is shrink the company by 40% and spin it as a success and turnaround.

Bring in cronies from Accenture and other so overheads go out of control then blame GIS overheads as eroding margin, another good spin.

Milk as much as possible for the top and cronies. Another margin erosion.

Say to the working staff and shareholders were really doing well every quarter on calls but pay no dividends or pay raises at a minimal level. Proof something is seriously not right.

So the strategy is all spin so mike and co can bank roll and little substance.

Otherwise it would be reflected in expansion of the company and pay raises for other staff. Where has ESG gone?

To measure if the strategy is delivering keep to simple KPI metrics of turnover and pay.

Deliver on them and that will show if the strategy is working, otherwise its all spin just to skrew the staff and the company for 5 years and sail off with millions.

Wish I could upvote that post more.

The only vision I see is reducing cost by moving jobs to lower cost countries.

Reducing costs is generally a good thing, if service/quality doesn't suffer, but it's not a recipe for growth.

M2 has been here for what, two years now? What's the DXC strategy? What do we stand for? Why should someone choose us?
