Thread regarding Pearson PLC layoffs

Moonlighting policy?

I’m a new-ish current employee of Pearson and thinking of getting a second gig on evenings/weekends to save extra money. Is this allowed? Does Pearson have policies against second jobs? I couldn’t find any specific policy.

Smart. Working at Pearson is basically a contract year to year job these days. Zero job security.

Smart, keep building your skills and network. Don't get too comfortable at Pearson. Your job is only as secure as the next quarterly earnings report.

Unless it is specifically outlawed by corporate policy, or you would be competing against your employer, go do whatever it is you want to. Keep a low profile about it but otherwise do not think twice about it.
