Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

It would take a miracle

This company no longer resembles the one where I started working. I'm counting the days until retirement and I'm looking forward to it. I don't believe that this place will ever be even close to what it was before. I wonder what kind of miracle is needed for that to happen?

What you don't like having upper management tell you about how cool it is to be genderqueer and all that other b*? You didn't like getting forced vaccinations? I'm done with their b* rhetoric.

Yep, HP is not a good place to work at. The company is a slowly sinking ship. Glad I left years ago.

How long have you been an employee? I left when Hurd came on and never looked back. I switched to a non-tech industry and am getting close to retirement myself. I consider myself fortunate and smart for leaving when I did. Tech is an awful place during recessions.
