Thread regarding Qlik Technologies Inc. layoffs

Worst work experience ever

Leadership team has no vision or accountability
Missing target revenue quarter over quarter with no solid plan to turn things around
Culture of firefighting valued over planning
5 CIOs in 7 yrs (3 in the last 2 years)
Core values are words only. No follow through.
Need to change the entire leadership team from the CEO down

Qlik is a dream place of ba----ds who love not to be held responsible. The right people are protected by silos , the whole thing operates very much on crony connections , there are no meaningful management and business policies and practices which are followed throughout the company. In fact this is not one company - it is rather a bunch of fiefdoms each of which has its own rules..

This isn’t what I see. I think they’ve turned around the company significantly since we went private. Customers love our product now - just don’t have the market presence we need to scale (yet). Yes there are a few C-suite folks I don’t love, but there are plenty I respect. Never been at a company where I liked every individual in a csuite, though… so doesn’t bother me at all.
